Don’t miss out on this generous promo which could easily swell your coffers, as Ladbrokes ramp up the first knock-out round excitement at the World Cup with a knock-out price boost.

The bookies are stretching the odds on a Dutch victory over Mexico, in combination with a Costa Rican triumph over Greece, from 7/2 out to 9/2.

Below we run you through a quick preview of the teams’ chances in their respective games:

Holland to beat Mexico @ 21/20

The Dutch under new Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal have looked a team on a mission to dispel the pain of their final heartache four years ago, ever since the first whistle against Spain.

Packed full of headline-making talent, not least Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben, this is a Holland team on a roll.

It’s now five straight wins for the Oranje who scored the most goals of any European nation in qualifying for Brazil,
while from their last 24 games they’ve only been beaten once, winning 16 of those.

Mexico are no pushovers, though they went through a long barren spell in front of goal in qualifying and have lost three out of four previous meetings with Holland.

Costa Rica to beat Greece @ 11/10

Before a ball was kicked in Brazil, there wasn’t a soul who would have backed the tiny Central American country to top a group containing World Cup heavyweights Italy, Uruguay and England.

Top it they did though and in some style really, undefeated with seven points. Costa Rica are yet to concede a goal from open play and showed during their 3-1 rout of Uruguay that they have plenty to offer in attack also.

Greece required the most dubious of penalties to progress to the knock-outs and we expect their luck to run out against the World Cup’s surprise package.
