Three Euro games to whet the Wednesday whistle

Published:

Man City will take centre stage tonight as they attempt to move one step closer to title glory with a win over Aston Villa.

The Citizens do not have the monopoly on tonight’s draw, however, as crucial matches are taking place across Europe.

Real Madrid, PSG and Heerenveen have plenty riding on tonight’s action and we’re tipping all three for glory at odds of almost 12/1.

Real Madrid to beat Valladolid to nil @ 5/4

With Barcelona and Atletico Madrid results going their way Real can move to within two points of top spot with two games to go in La Liga.

Valladolid are unbeaten in 10 home games but have been struggling for goals of late.

Madrid, however, have lost just one of 12 away games, have beaten Valladolid on each of the last six meetings and have taken their last five away wins without conceding a single goal.

PSG to beat Rennes to nil @ 17/20

A single point against relegation-threatened Rennes will wrap up the Ligue 1 title for PSG and few will bet against Laurent Blanc’s men winning at home.

The Parisiens are unbeaten in 29 games at the Parc des Princes and have won their last seven without conceding a single goal.

Rennes have picked up maximum points just twice in 11 away days so expect the champagne to flow in Paris tonight.

Heerenveen to beat AZ Alkmaar @ 21/10

AZ go into this Europa League play-off tie on a run of five games without a win. Alkmaar are hard to beat at home, going eight games without loss at the AFAS Stadion, but look set to see that run end tonight.

Heerenveen are unbeaten in six games, have lost just one of five away matches and beat AZ 5-1 in their own back yard earlier this season. Enough said!
