Put it all on red in Ladbrokes’ Tuesday night accumulator

Midweek football is usually the reserve of top class European matches but the Easter Bank Holiday weekend means action of a different variety takes centre stage this week.

A trio of Tuesday night games sees Arsenal attempt to regain a top four spot in the Premier League, while Charlton and Crawley can move a step closer to safety in the Championship and League One respectively.

The Ladbrokes News team is backing all three to do just that and at odds of over 9/2 backing the teams in red could mean a tasty return of £57.74 for those willing to stake just £10.

Arsenal to beat West Ham @ 4/9

Having won just one of their last six Premier League games Arsenal have gone from title challengers to Champions League hopefuls in a matter of weeks.

The Gunners now trail Everton by two points in the race for the coveted fourth place but will be confident of putting pressure on the Toffees with a routine win over West Ham.

Arsene Wenger’s men may have toiled over their FA Cup semi-final with Wigan but having gone 15 games unbeaten at The Emirates should be backed for a more comfortable time here.

West Ham have not beaten Arsenal since April 2007 and with the Gunners winning all of the last seven meetings between the clubs another defeat looks a certainty here.

Charlton to beat Barnsley @ 21/20

The Addicks have struggled to secure back-to-back wins recently and as such find themselves just one point above the relegation zone.

However, the south London side will be confident of taking a step towards safety against a Barnsley outfit five points adrift at the bottom of the league.

The hosts have lost just two of their last six at The Valley, while Barnsley have won just three of their last 27 on the road.

The visitors were enjoying a six-game unbeaten run against Charlton but the 6-0 hammering dished out last term will be fresh in the mind of the Charlton squad who avoided defeat in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Crawley to beat Tranmere @ 19/20

Crawley complete our trio of hosts and the Red Devils will have the wind in their wings following the weekend’s 3-2 win over MK Dons.

That victory put John Gregory’s men six points above the danger zone and a win in this six-pointer would mean a giant step towards safety.

Tranmere are just three points above the drop zone, having won two games on the bounce, but with just two wins from eight away games, backing is for the hosts, who have won five of seven at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
