Pacquiao v Bradley II: Pac Man win to set up Mayweather bout

Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2 38 KOs) will get the chance to right one of the biggest wrongs in boxing history when he faces American Timothy Bradley (31-0-0 12 KOs) in Las Vegas later this month.
WBO Welterweight champion Bradley handed Pac Man a shock spilt decision defeat at the MGM Grand in 2012 and while the Filipino has fallen on hard times since, many believe the eight-weight world champ will resurrect his career with a win here – a feat priced at 1/2 by Ladbrokes.
Pacquiao knows only too well that a second defeat to Bradley will all but end his aspirations of setting up the fight of all fights against Floyd Mayweather Junior.
This alone should spur the 35-year-old on to success against the man known as Desert Storm but with Pacquiao stopped inside the distance by Juan Manuel Marquez after the first Bradley fight many could be tempted by the 13/8 about another win for the Californian.
One thing is for certain though and that is that fight fans will get their money’s worth when these two step onto the canvas on April 12th.
Pacquiao’s punching power seems to have faded somewhat, with his last KO win coming in 2011 against Miguel Cotto, and Bradley hasn’t won by stoppage since 2007.
As such the 4/11 on the fight going the distance should be the pick for punters with a big budget but those looking longer odds should consider backing Pac Man to impress the judges.
A unanimous decision win for the Filipino can be backed at 15/8 and should be the pick following his win by this method over Brandon Rios last time out, while the split decision is available at 7/1.
Those who think Pacquiao is past his prime though can get 6/1 for a unanimous win for Bradley or 9/1 that he earns a repeat of his controversial split decision win last time round.
