Fancy a bet on Fulham v Norwich? Check out this 10/1 offering

Published:

Given that Fulham have conceded at least three times in five of their last six Premier League outings at home and Norwich have lost seven on the bounce on the road in all competitions, the one thing that looks guaranteed at Craven Cottage is goals.

Lots of games are exaggeratedly built up as relegation six pointers without being truly the case, but this showdown does fit the bill, with third-bottom Fulham moving to within two points of their opposition with a victory.

Over 2.5 goals is exceedingly hard to oppose here at 17/20, as the club with the worst defensive record at home entertains a Norwich side that have conceded more than everyone bar Fulham on the road.

Meanwhile, punters could easily be rewarded for trying to top up their profits by taking the 21/10 for over 3.5 goals or even 5/1 that a minimum of five goals will be scored.

However, the real moneymaking angle could well prove the 10/1 that Fulham recover from falling behind to secure victory.

Fulham have only triumphed in 10 games all season in all competitions and both teams were on target in half of these.

Furthermore, Fulham conceded the opener in four of these five successes, including in the 2-1 triumph over Norwich at Carrow Road on Boxing Day.

Another boost to this bet is the fact that in four of the last five road trips in which Norwich have managed to trouble the scorers, they have broken the deadlock. Only Southampton and West Ham have thrown away more points than Norwich from winning positions this season too.

Robert Snodgrass has been on target in three of the last five games in which Norwich have scored and therefore may be their best bet to open the scoring at 8/1.
