Burnley and Bournemouth victories key in Championship fourfold

Published:

The race for the Premier League continues to deliver plenty of thrills with as many as 11 clubs vying for the chance to join Leicester in England’s top flight.

With that in mind we have picked out an enticing fourfold at over 10/1 featuring the likes of promotion chasing Burnley, Bournemouth, Derby and Ipswich.

A £10 stake on all four selections to win at Ladbrokes pays out £109 and what’s more if you add Brighton (8/11) to build an 18/1 fivefold accumulator, you qualify for our One Out! Our Shout!* offer! That means that if one selection lets your acca down the bookmaker will refund your stake as a free bet.

Burnley to beat Middlesbrough @ 5/6

Middlesbrough are one of the form sides in the Championship but we are backing Burnley to move a step closer to a Premier League return with victory.

Sean Dyche’s men need five points from their five remaining games to seal a top flight return and with the title still up for grabs they will be determined not to slip up.

Danny Ings and Ashley Barnes will continue their partnership in attack for the Clarets and with Middlesbrough missing both their first choice centre backs through suspension, it could mean a long afternoon for Boro.

Bournemouth to beat Yeovil @ 11/10

A run of five straight wins has seen Bournemouth move right in the mix for a play-off place and they can keep up their charge with victory away at bottom of the league Yeovil.

The Glovers may be fighting for their lives to avoid relegation but they have the second worst home record in the Championship, while Eddie Howe’s men have won four of their last five on the road.

The Cherries, who were 3-0 victors when the two sides met at Dean Court in December, will be confident of doing the double over Gary Johnson’s men.

Ipswich to beat Doncaster @ 4/6

Only Wigan have picked up all three points at Portman Road since the end of January and with Ipswich just two points off a play-off spot, they will be determined to pile the pressure on the sides above them with victory over Doncaster.

Mick McCarthy’s men face a Doncaster side who have won just once away from home in their last 16 matches away from the Keepmoat Stadium, but that came against a free-falling Leeds.

The Tractor Boys won the reverse fixture 3-0 and can keep their push for a Premier League return going for at least another week.

Derby to beat Huddersfield @ 7/10

The Rams look well set in the play-off places but Steve McClaren’s charges can keep their winning streak at Pride Park going against an out-of-sorts Huddersfield.

Derby have lost just one of their last nine Championship matches in front of their own fans and they can make it four wins on the bounce at home with victory over the Terriers.

Mark Robins’ side are without a win in eight matches and that run looks set to continue when they visit the promotion chasing East Midlands side.
