Benfica backed to bring it home in Europa League accumulator

Published:

After last week’s successful Europa League accumulator picks, we are aiming to bring it home again with wins for hosts Benfica, Sevilla, Juventus and Valencia.

Something of a banker this time round, this fabulous fourfold is available at odds of just over 4/1, which equates to a return of £52 for anyone placing a £10 bet on these selections with Ladbrokes!

Benfica to beat AZ Alkmaar @ 4/11

The Portuguese club claimed a vital 1-0 away win in the first leg and should be confident of completing the job at Estadio da Luz.

Unbeaten in 32 games at home in the league and yet to suffer defeat at the ground in the Europa League or Champions League this term they should have too much for an AZ team on a run of four games without a win.

Juventus to beat Lyon @ 3/10

Having found their way past a resilient French defence in the first leg, the Old Lady will look to complete the job at the Juventus Stadium, where they are unbeaten this term, winning 20 and drawing three of their 23 outings there.

Lyon may have secured a first win in three against Valenciennes at the weekend, but a tally of just one win from the five away day outings in the competition suggests they could be on course for more misery on the road.

Sevilla to beat Porto @ 5/6

Porto made home advantage count with a 1-0 triumph last time out in Portugal, however it’s the Andalusians who should be backed for a win on the night this time around.

Sevilla have won five of their last six games at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and will be expected to get something from the visitors who are without a win in five games on the road, shipping a total of ten goals along the way.

Valencia to beat Basel @ 3/5

Basel all but secured progression with a 3-0 home win in Switzerland but don’t count against Los Che restoring some pride with a narrow victory in front of the Mestalla faithful.

The Spaniard’s remain a solid force on their own patch, losing just one of their last 10 at the ground and with Basel potentially opting to rest players or take their foot off the gas, a 1-0 win is not inconceivable for the 2003 UEFA Cup winners.
