NBA: Accumulator tips wins for Atlanta, Miami and Orlando

Published:

With just one win from 20 games on the road Orlando seem doomed to defeat before they even step on to the court to play Golden State tonight.

However, backing the Magic at (+13) looks a shrewd bet given the Florida outfit’s successful displays in California recently.

Add in wins for the in-form Atlanta Hawks and playoff-bound Miami Heat and a £10 stake could mean a return of £69.58 at odds of 13/2.

Atlanta Hawks (+3) to beat Toronto Raptors @ 10/11

Atlanta (30-35) have seemingly put their playoff fears behind them after securing their longest winning run of the season so far.

After winning just one of 15 matches, the Hawks have now won four on the bounce as they bid to make it to the postseason and the hosts will be confident of keeping the run going against the visiting Raptors (37-28).

Atlanta are 14-4 from 18 meetings with the Canadians and 9-2 from 11 matchups at the Philips Arena.

And with the host’s defence holding teams to an average of just 90.7 points over the last three games a three-point head start is too good to ignore here.

Miami Heat (-9.5) to beat Cleveland Cavaliers @ 10/11

Meetings between Miami (45-19) and Cleveland (26-41) usually serve as a reminder to the Cavs of how things could be and this meeting will be no different.

LeBron James has won four of his five visits to the Quicken Loans Arena since leaving the Buckeye State for pastures new and after scoring 28 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in their most recent meeting is poised to be the difference once again.

Miami have lost five of their last seven games and this can in part be attributed to slowing down after securing a playoff spot.

However, with nine consecutive wins over the Cavs even a Heat side in downtime can expect a victory here.

The spread looks a large one to overcome, but with hosts missing top scorer Kyrie Irving through injury backing the Heat is the only way to go.

Orlando Magic (+13) to beat Golden State Warriors @ 10/11

Orlando (19-48) have had a rough time of it on the road of late, losing 19 of their last 20 away from the Amway Center, and go into this game having lost five on the bounce.

However, a 13-point spread means the visitors must be backed against the Warriors (42-26), given their recent successes at the Oracle Arena.

Orlando are 8-2 from 10 meetings with the Sacramento-based outfit and 6-1 from seven as the away side, so backing them to lose by no more than 12.5 points this time round looks an easy pick.
