El Clasico win for Real heads up Euro TV accumulator

Published:

Barcelona may have won last time the world tuned in to the El Clasico derby but with that victory ending a five-game winless streak against Real Madrid we’re backing Los Blancos to hit back this time round.

The Real Madrid win is the cornerstone of this week’s European TV accumulator and those following the tips could see a healthy return of £257 from a £10 stake.

Joining Real on the winner’s list are Leverkusen and Monaco, while Napoli and Fiorentina are tipped to share the spoils in Serie A.

Real Madrid to beat Barcelona @ 6/5

With this season’s defeat to city rivals Atletico the only loss in 44 league games at the Bernebeu, Real Madrid will be confident of taking another step toward the La Liga title with a win over Barca.

Madrid are four points clear of their biggest rivals at present and despite losing last time the side’s met are favourites to make that seven points by the start of next week.

Barca lost three and drew two of the five meetings leading up to their most recent win and with Tata Martino’s side in shaky form another loss is on the cards here.

The Catalans have won just once in six games away from the Nou Camp – their worst run of away form in over three years.

Bayer Leverkusen to beat Hoffenheim @ 3/4

Leverkusen remain within touching distance of a Champions League place despite some horrible recent form but will be confident of closing the gap on Schalke with a win over Hoffenheim.

Bayer have lost seven of their last eight outings – drawing the other – in all competitions and three of their last five league games at home.

However, Sami Hyppia will remind his side of the nine wins they picked up prior to this blip as motivation for victory here.

Hoffenheim are also in a shocking run away from home, having won just two of their last 11 on the road, and their record against the hosts makes for terrible reading.

Leverkusen have won 10 and drawn one of the last 11 meetings and should be backed for a return to winning ways here.

Napoli and Fiorentina to draw at 5/2

Third meets fourth in Serie A in this encounter and while Fiorentina hold little hope of closing a 10-point gap on their rivals, they can halt Napoli’s bid for a Champions League spot.

Rafa Benitez’s men have lost just one of their last 15 in the league and one of 24 in front of their own fans, but La Viola have been a hard team for them to beat in recent years.

Vincenzo Montella’s men last beat Napoli in 2010 but in seven meetings since then, four have ended all square.

The Europa League hopefuls have lost just one of their last five away and can be backed to avoid defeat again at the Stadio Olimpico.

Monaco to beat Lille @ 10/11

Lille have had great success against the Principality club in recent meetings, winning six and drawing two of the last 10 fixtures.

However, this success will come to an end this weekend as big-spending Monaco look to cement their position in second-place.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have lost just three of their last 25 games and one of four at home.

Lille, meanwhile, have won just one of six as the away side and will come unstuck again at the Stade Louis II.
