Ruthless Roma to keep yet another clean sheet against Bologna

Published:

Roma can’t afford any slip-ups if they are to have any hope of stopping Juventus claiming a hat-trick of Serie A titles.

We’re pretty confident they’ll overcome Bologna while Sampdoria and AC Milan may have to settle for a share of the spoils and Bayern should enjoy another fairly comprehensive victory.

This weekend European football accumulator pays £159.25 from a £10 stake and you can catch all the action live across BT Sport and ESPN.

Roma to beat Bologna to nil @ 29/20

Roma’s best efforts to reel in Serie A champions Juventus are unlikely to be hampered when they travel to meet Bologna, with Rudi Garcia’s men backed to record another clinical victory.

The Romans have won three of their last four at the Stadio Renatio Dall’Ara and on each of those winning occasions their defence wasn’t breached.

And given that an incredible 15 of their 16 league wins this season have been to nil, including a 5-0 drubbing of the Bolognese in the reverse fixture, another three points combined with a clean sheet is the standout selection.

Sampdoria and AC Milan to draw @ 9/4

AC Milan will look to build on a run of three wins in their last five matches when they make the relatively short trip south to face Sampdoria.

However, the hosts enjoy the same record from their previous five games and these mid-table sides could cancel each other out in Genoa.

Two of the previous three corresponding fixtures in all competitions have ended in a draw with three of Milan’s four away draws this season coming against sides in the bottom-half of the table.

Manager Clarence Seedorf could yet again see his team’s attempts at claiming victory stifled by an outfit below them while counterpart Sinisia Mihajlovic is also likely to be left disappointed as La Samp chase a first home win against one of the top-10 sides in the division.

Hannover v Bayern – Bayern to score 2-3 goals @ Evens

Fresh from delivering a hammer blow to Arsenal’s Champions League hopes, Bayern should have no trouble following–up their impressive 2-0 victory at the Emirates with a routine defeat of Hannover.

The question is: how many goals will the Bavarians score? Last April’s 6-1 drubbing in the corresponding game was confirmation of the already-crowned champions’ class and a similar scoreline would not come as too much of a surprise.

However, Hannover have only lost one of their last 12 Bundesliga games at home and will be eager to avoid another mauling at the hands of FCB in front of their own fans.

In 12 of their 21 league games so far this term the European Cup holders have scored between two and three goals and with Die Roten looking pretty solid at the HDI-Arena the visitors’ total could fall into that bracket once more.
