Profit from PSV and AC Milan in our Friday euro accumulator
This Friday’s foursome of tips to win in Europe has a truly continental feel, with games from the Eredivisie, Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga all included.
And backing wins for Mainz, Milan, Elche and PSV could see you seriously cash in at odds of just over 6/1 with Ladbrokes, which equates to a return of £72.90 for anyone placing a £10 bet with the bookies.
The Clarence Seedorf revolution hit something of a snag last weekend with a 3-1 loss to Napoli, but a return to the safe surroundings of the San Siro and the visit of relegation-threatened Bologna should see Milan get their revival back on track.
Unbeaten in five Serie A games at home, the Rossoneri have won two of their last three at the ground and will be confident of dispatching Davide Ballardini’s team, with the visitors claiming just one victory from their last six domestic fixtures.
Milan won the corresponding fixture 2-1 last term and, with new boys Adil Rami and Adel Taarabt in tow, should have enough to see the Rossoblu off this time.
One of the surprise packages of the Bundesliga season so far, Mainz had won three league games on the bounce prior to their loss to similarly in-form Wolfsburg last time out.
But despite the disappointment of that result, the hosts look set to bounce back immediately with the visit of Hannover 96, a team struggling for form on the road so far this term.
Die Roten have lost 10 of their last 11 away games in the Bundesliga and could find it tough going against a Mainz side who have been beaten in just one of their last six home fixtures in the division, with that defeat coming against Borussia Dortmund.
Like Milan, PSV have had a season to forget so far, with the Eindhoven giants currently down in sixth place in the Eredivisie standings. Phillip Cocu’s team have put together a decent run of form recently though, with wins in six of their last eight league fixtures.
And the visit of Heracles should pose few problems to the Rood-witten, with PSV winning each of the previous nine fixtures played between the teams at the Philips Stadion.
Heracles aren’t exactly in sparkling form either, with just one victory from their last three league fixtures going into this encounter.
While the likes of minnows Mainz continue to impress in Germany, over in Spain Elche are doing a fine job of representing the little guys in La Liga.
Level on points with opponents Osasuna going into this one, the hosts are hoping to make it three wins in a row at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero in the top flight and with their opponents notoriously poor travellers, it looks a good shout.
Los Rojillos have picked up just one win from their last seven competitive games on the road, with that one success coming against bottom club Real Betis and could struggle against a confident Elche.
