NBA Acca: Rockets, Celtics and Spurs set for road wins

The high-flying San Antonio Spurs will make the most of the off-court turmoil faced by Detroit as the cornerstone of our road trip treble.
Backing Gregg Popovich’s men to pick up an away win alongside fellow travellers Boston and Houston could see returns of £45.24 from a stake of just £10.
The Spurs (37-14) are looking to maintain pressure on Western Conference leaders Oklahoma City and will be confident of a win as they travel to Detroit (21-29).
Gregg Popovich’s men go into the fifth game of a nine-match road trip with a 3-1 record and recent history suggests the Pistons will do little to dent the run.
Detroit have won their last two but last picked up a hat-trick of wins in December and have claimed victory in just one of five meetings with the Spurs.
With the hosts recently firing Maurice Cheeks in a desperate bid to find playoff form the visit of San Antonio, who are 18-5 from 23 away games, couldn’t have come at a worse time.
Boston (18-34) are 5-17 from their last 22, 2-11 from 13 on the road and coming into this match on the back of a loss to the Mavericks.
Uninspiring though this may be, a visit to Milwaukee (9-41) is just what’s needed to boost the confidence of Brad Stevens’ Celtics.
The Bucks are owners of the league’s worst record by far, with just two wins from their last 19 outings, and will find little comfort from playing in front of their own fans.
Larry Drew’s side are 4-18 from 22 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and with the Celtics winning 16 of the last 24 meetings a home defeat looks a certainty here.
Much of the outcome of this game depends on the fitness of Minnesota’s (24-27) Kevin Love.
The three-time NBA All Star is averaging 31.5 points and 15.5 rebounds over his last six appearances and has scored 25 or more in five of his last six against Houston (34-17).
However, the 25-year-old has missed two of the Bucks’ last three games through injury and is questionable for the visit of the Rockets.
Even if Love does feature he is unlikely to be firing on enough cylinders to halt a first six-game win streak for Houston since January 2012.
The Texans are 5-1 from their last six on the road and 9-2 from 11 visits to the Target Center, while the Timberwolves are 1-5 from their last six games overall.
Houston won the earlier meeting between the two 112-101 and the form indicates another victory for Kevin McHale’s side.
