Ray Quinn favourite to land Dancing On Ice All Star crown

Published:

X Factor star Ray Quinn is the 5/4 favourite with Ladbrokes to win the final series of Dancing on Ice when the ITV show returns to our screens next week.

The Liverpool crooner, who is 2/5 to finish as the top male performer, was a huge hit when winning the 2009 edition of the ice dancing show, topping the leaderboard every single week on his way to the title.

The 25-year-old, who has appeared as Danny Zuko in the stage-version of Grease in the West End, pairs up with pro partner Maria Filippov once again and the bookies cannot see anything but the pair lifting the trophy once more.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “As far as we’re concerned Ray’s got the X Factor to be crowned Dancing On Ice’s champion of champions.”

But Quinn will face stiff competition for the title of Dancing On Ice All Stars champion as five former winners of the show line up alongside the Liverpudlian.

Former Emmerdale and now Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon returns to the ice looking to repeat her 2010 win and can be backed at 3/1 for victory.

2011 champion Sam Attwater can be found at odds of 7/1, while England rugby hero Kyran Bracken is 8/1 for glory.

Former Hear’Say band member Suzanne Shaw, the only celebrity ever to perform the dangerous Headbanger move from a standing take-off position, has odds of 12/1 to bring home the trophy.

The standard of this final series is set to be extremely high but it would not be Dancing on Ice without a couple of characters set to lighten the mood.

Eastender Todd Carty and comedian Joe Pasquale are set to entertain the masses once more but don’t expect them to challenge at the top of the leaderboard, with Ladbrokes quoting odds of 250/1 and 100/1 respectively for either of the duo to win the show.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
