Made In Chelsea star top male on Celebrity Big Brother

Published:

The ongoing Lee Ryan love rat/love triangle debacle may be dominating the Celebrity Big Brother headlines at present, but while those around him continue to flounder reality TV star Ollie Locke has emerged as a real frontrunner to win the series.

The Made In Chelsea star is an evens shout to be the last man left in the house and after demonstrating all the poise and etiquette you would expect from someone of his particular upbringing, it could prove to be a shrewd bet.

Displaying the kind of behaviour befitting of someone with a fondness for the Rudyard Kipling poem “If”, it’s fair to say that Locke has done a good job of keeping his head “when all about you are losing theirs.”

The same cannot be said for boy band member Lee Ryan, who in the past few days has managed to engage in more bathroom-based trysts with female contestants than I have had hot dinners – and I’m very much the kind of guy who enjoys a proper lunch, never mind all that sandwich nonsense.

Not happy with receiving cuddles and a little bit more besides from Casey Batchelor, Ryan sought satisfaction elsewhere, engaging in a spot of late-night smooching (and the rest) with the serially saucy Jasmine Waltz during their stay alongside a desperate-for-the-loo Jim Davidson in a specially constructed “UFO” parked in the CBB garden.

Now condemned to the house’s equivalent of the naughty step – a bizarre bedsit setup for him and Batchelor following their fake eviction from the show – Ryan is a distant 14/1 to be the last male in the house.

That he has sought the Page 3 model’s advice on how to win the affections of Waltz back has hardly helped matters, meaning that Locke’s biggest obstacle to success could well come in the form of old twinkle-toes himself, Lionel Blair who is 3/1 in the top male market.

They are joined by Dappy, whose knowing brand of comedy monologues to camera have made him a refreshing counterpoint to the steamy scenes playing out in the rest of the house.

At present, the N-Dubz man can be found at 4/1 to be the last man in the house, while the outspoken pair of Jim Davidson and Evander Holyfield are priced at 9/1 and 14/1 respectively, with their prospects hardly helped by the imminent threat of eviction, with both up for the chop.

For Locke, meanwhile, it’s a case of staying calm and steering clear of any naked Jacuzzi time.
