Juventus, Gladbach and St Etienne star in weekend Euro acca

The January transfer window may have slammed shut but on the continent the football continues  thick and fast this Saturday and Sunday.

Fortunately Ladbrokes is on the ball with a fabulous fourfold of selections from the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 that can be enjoyed across the usual BT Sport and Sky Sports platforms.

Backing wins for Borussia Monchengladbach, Genoa, St Etienne and Juventus could see you seriously cash in, with wins for each of these teams combining at odds of over 12/1 to produce an acca returning £132.90 for anyone staking £10.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Hannover 96 @ 8/5 (Saturday 17:30, BT Sport 2)

Level on points with an inconsistent Dortmund, Lucien Favre will know his Gladbach team will need to keep winning if they are to claim third place in the Bundesliga this season.

On paper a trip to Hannover appears a tough prospect, but Die Fohlen have done well on the road of late, winning two and drawing one of their previous three away fixtures in the Bundesliga and keeping three clean sheets in the process.

The hosts, meanwhile, have claimed victory in just one of their previous five home fixtures in the German top flight and have lost in each of their previous three encounters with Gladbach.

St Etienne to beat Valenciennes @ 4/9 (Saturday 19:00, BT Sport 2)

We backed an out-of-sorts Marseille to beat lowly Valenciennes in midweek and with L’OM duly delivering, meaning another routine home triumph is predicted, this time for in form St Etienne.

Les Verts have won each of their last four Ligue 1 fixtures at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, including victories over in-form sides Lille and Nantes.

The visitors meanwhile have picked up just two wins from their last 13 league fixtures played on the road and haven’t beaten St Etienne since way back in 2009.

Genoa to beat Sampdoria @ 29/20 (Sunday 11:30, BT Sport 1)

In previous years Sampdoria have dominated the hotly contested Derby della Lanterna but that wasn’t the case earlier this season with Genoa claiming a 3-0 victory over their old rivals.

It reflected a shift in power between the clubs with the Rossoblu now five points clear of Sampdoria in Serie A. While the two teams share the Luigi Ferraris stadium, it’s Genoa who are enjoying the better form, losing just one of their last four games and seven unbeaten at home.

Samp, by contrast, has won just one of their last six games and could be in trouble.

Juventus to beat Inter Milan @ 4/9 (Sunday 19:45, BT Sport 1)

The Old Lady is already strolling to the Scudetto having built up a six-point lead over nearest challengers Roma, but a win over Inter in the Derby d’Italia would make this season that bit sweeter, particularly as Juve were held to a 1-1 draw by the Nerazzurri at the San Siro earlier this term.

It should be a different case at the Juventus Stadium, with the Bianconeri currently enjoying a run of 10 straight wins at the ground in Serie A.

With Inter losing each of their previous four away games in the league and with just one from their last nine on the road in the Italian top flight, the result here is looking black and white.
