CBB: Linda to walk as Dappy, Casey and Sam avoid nomination

Published:

Linda Nolan’s stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house looks set to come to an end after the moaning singer was put up for eviction by her fellow housemates.

Comedian Jim Davidson, Made in Chelsea man Ollie Locke, Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman and Blue singer Lee Ryan join Nolan in the public vote-off but as the 100/1 rank outsider to win the show it is the ‘I’m in the Mood for Dancing’ singer who looks most likely to get the axe.

This represents the first time that Nolan has faced the public vote but with Davidson – her arch enemy inside the house – now the 11/10 favourite to win, it stands to reason that she will not curry much favour with voters.

Dappy, Sam Faiers and Casey Batchelor were all granted a stay of execution on the extended show but with the glamour model a 40/1 shot to win and the Towie girl a 6/1 outsider the inevitable is merely being prolonged for the duo.

However, N-Dubz rapper Dappy could yet benefit from avoiding the axe after seeing his odds cut to 9/4 to win the show outright.

The Camden-based performer has formed a close bond with Davidson and with viewers warming to the way they look after each other in the house he looks set to last until the final at least.

As ever, the latest round of face-to-face nominations was not without controversy!

Zissman attempted to change her choices after being shocked at being put up for the chop by Dappy.

However, she was then banned from nominating altogether by Big Brother, something which could have had an impact on the overall result.

This will not have helped her chances of winning – currently rated at 16/1 – but with Nolan almost certain to be the next one out, the 26-year-old will live to fight another day.
