Thunder can continue winning run against the Bulls

Published:

With two NBA match-ups being shown on BT Sport tonight our news team take an in-depth look at the action from across the pond as Oklahoma City Thunder host the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs visit Golden State Warriors.

Oklahoma City Thunder (-13.0) to beat Chicago Bulls @ 10/11

In recent seasons Oklahoma have been the dominant force in clashes with the Bulls, winning three straight games by an average margin of 16.7 points.

Expect that trend to continue with the Thunder (20-4) looking to extend the longest winning streak in the league to eight matches.

Scott Brooks’ side are also the last remaining undefeated side at home (12-0) and with this all in mind you can see the size of the task awaiting Chicago when they visit the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The Bulls (9-15) have lost six of their last seven and are averaging just 80.3ppg in their last three defeats to the City Thunder.

Tom Thibodeau’s charges, who have won only one of their last five against Oklahoma, are averaging a lowly 91.29 points in attack this season, while the Thunder are boasting a 105.62 point average.

Therefore, backing the home side to beat the -13.0 handicap on their way to another victory seems the way forward.

San Antonio Spurs to beat Golden State Warriors @ 27/20

It’s fair to say San Antonio hold the upper hand in match-ups against the Warriors with a winning record  (53-10) since April 1998.

But the Spurs go into the clash at the Oracle Arena without legendary point-guard Tony Parker and Golden State, who come into the clash on the back of a 104-93 win over New Orleans, will be in confident mood of picking up a rare win.

Parker’s absence, however, did not hit Gregg Popovich’s side, who are 18-2 in the last 20 regular season match-ups against the Warriors, too much in their 108-101 win at Phoenix.

Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan filled the void at US Airways Center and the Spurs fans will be hopeful that can continue against Golden State.

It was the visitors who came out on top when the two sides clashed back in November and while 18 points from Parker was key to the victory, San Antonio, who are 27/20 for the win with Ladbrokes, have the strength to put in a repeat performance.
