Back Thornton using Ladbrokes’ World C’ship special offer

If Phil Taylor, the 10/11 favourite and 16-time world champion, plots a predictable path to the final and goes on to lift the trophy he’s so familiar with, then Ladbrokes will refund all losing outright bets, up to the value of £25, as a free bet.

The offer allows punters to get a tad creative with their selections, so long as they are placed before the start of play on December 13, and stump for some longer priced players in the hope of landing a whopping windfall.

The Scot’s case is pushed even harder by the fact that he’s in Phil Taylor’s half of the draw. The pair could potentially meet in the quarter-finals and should he turn off The Power’s surge, Thornton will have a fantastic chance of glory.

But should the 46-year-old bow out gracefully at the hands of Taylor then fear not, as the Stoke world-conqueror has only ever failed to reach three finals during his World Championship career and would return your money should he go on to be crowned overall victor.
