Napoli and Lille lead this weekend’s Technicolor Euro acca

Published:

Though grey skys have arrived across the length and breadth of England, over in Europe there’s a veritable rainbow of teams that should be backed to brighten up your weekend.

Whether it’s the deep red of Lille, the light blue of Napoli or the royal green of Wolfsburg, this is one acca you won’t want to miss out on with a bet of £10 bringing in returns of £80.50!

Napoli to beat Udinese @ 8/15

A midweek 4-2 victory away to Lazio was a return to form for Gli Azzurri, following back-to-back defeats to Juventus and Parma in Serie A, and manager Rafa Benitez will have been pleased to see Gonzalo Higuain back among the goals, with the Argentine grabbing a brace to end a two-month domestic drought.

Next up is a home encounter with an Udinese side that rarely travels well, losing five of their last six league games played on the road. Napoli have beaten the Zebrette on their previous two visits to the Stadio San Paolo and a home win looks assured.

Lille to beat Bordeaux @ 13/8

The combination of a surprise win over a resurgent Marseille and PSG’s loss to Evian has seen Lille emerge as potential title contenders. Helped by the record-breaking heroics of goalkeeper Victor Enyeama, who has gone over 1,000 minutes without conceding a goal in Ligue 1, Lille are 11 games unbeaten in the French top-flight and full of confidence as they head to Bordeaux.

Les Girondins may have recorded recent victories over second-from-bottom Ajaccio and newly-promoted Guingamp, but prior to those results the team went three games without a win and after losing their last meeting with Lille, it’s difficult to look past the form side.

Wolfsburg to beat Freiburg @ evens

The Wolves may still be some way off the pace in the Bundesliga, but recent weeks have seen Dieter Hecking’s team enjoy a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Away form has improved too, with Wolfsburg winning two and drawing three of their last three games in the German top-flight. Freiburg, meanwhile, have had a wretched time of it and sit just three points outside the bottom two places in the division.

The hosts have found little solace at home either and welcome the Wolves to the Mage Solar Stadion knowing that defeat will make it four straight losses at home in the league.
