Unbeaten Spurs are already safely through as winners of Group K and with Anzhi also assured of a knockout berth there is a risk that neither side will turn up.
However, Lilywhites boss Andre Villas-Boas will be keen to extend his side’s seven-match European win-streak and will take confidence from the Russian outfit’s woeful away record.
Anzhi have lost on all three of their previous trips to Britain – being beaten by Newcastle, Liverpool and Rangers – and have tasted success just once in 16 matches on the road.
Spurs have lost just two of their last 12 at White Hart Lane and will improve that record against a side without a win in five.
