X Factor prices right as all-girl bottom two looks likely

With Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald seemingly well clear of the field in terms of X Factor votes, it is two from the other four that are expected to have to sing for survival in the week themed as ‘The Best of the X Factor’.

Olly Murs, JLS and One Direction are all returning to perform on one of the two shows, with Tamera Foster set to perform the last winner’s single – James Arthur’s Impossible.

However, this is not expected to save Tamera from a second sing-off appearance, which can be backed at 11/10.

Three of the final six have already featured in the sing-off at least once, with Luke Friend the latest, when being saved at the expense of Sam Callahan in the last live show.

This should entitle him to the typical rebound vote this week, while he is also the only remaining act that is still to benefit from being last in the running order.

It is widely regarded to be an advantage performing last, given voting lines open virtually straight afterwards and so Luke should be safe for another week.

Little Mix’s rendition of ‘Don’t Let Go’ was the song that sent them to the top of the public vote for the first time in 2011 and although it is a song that arguably better suits a female vocal, it does offer Rough Copy the chance for a first real stand-out moment since the opening week.

Luke is 5/4 to be in the bottom two in successive weeks, with Rough Copy 7/4 for a maiden sing-off appearance.

Hannah Barrett is the 2/5 favourite and this is understandable given that she has been in the bottom two twice already and benefited from a rebound vote last week.

She looks a banker for the sing-off, with 4/6 more than reasonable that she is the seventh act eliminated.
