Swansea and Cardiff to be goalless at the half-time interval

It is 15/8 that the score will be 0-0 at half time, something that has been the case in three of Cardiff’s four home games so far this campaign.
Swansea’s last seven games in all competitions have only seen one goal before the half-time interval, when they went in 1-0 down at Southampton.
It was also goalless at half time in both of the pair’s past two meetings, when the away team won 1-0 in each encounter of the 2010/11 Championship season.
Another bet worth considering based on this trend for sluggish starts is that the second half will have the most goals at 11/10.
While goals have been hard to come by before the break for each side, there has been no shortage of attacking play after the half-time oranges, with two of Swansea’s past seven seeing as many as four goals in the second half.
Seven of the Swans’ last nine have had more goals in the second half, while all five of the strikes in Cardiff’s barnstorming 3-2 victory over Manchester City at home came in the second half.
Craig Bellamy is one man who knows the importance of the fixture, scoring the only goal the last time the two sides met, and the Cardiff striker is a fair bet to break his duck for the season at 3/1.
Michu leads the betting for Swansea at 7/4 to find the net at anytime, but the Spaniard has only scored once in his past six games for the Swans, perhaps making it wise to steer clear.
