The Millers reasserted their play-off credentials with a 3-0 away win over Stevenage last time out but they will need to build on that result against an out-of-form Carlisle if that result is to count for anything.
Rotherham are unbeaten in three at New York Stadium and manager Steve Evans will be confident of extending that run against a Carlisle side who narrowly avoided FA Cup embarrassment with a 2-1 win over non-league Boreham Wood courtesy of a 95th minute winner from Mark Beck.
Prior to that result, the Cumbrians had gone six games without a victory in all competitions and with an away record that has seen them pick up three points from just one of their last four played on the road, the hosts will fancy their chances.
