Do NOT miss 8/1 on Rooney to score first against Germany!

Ladbrokes have thrown caution to the wind and gone big on England’s Mr Reliable, Wayne Rooney, to bag the first goal of the game against Germany at Wembley, out from 6/1 to a whopping 8/1.

Rarely does Rooney let his country down and with Germany the visitors, England fans can expect the Manchester United striker to be fully revved up, especially with revenge for World Cup 2010 on the Three Lions’ agenda.

Rooney may have had a quietish game by his own high standards against Chile, but then he was a victim of playing with an unfamiliar line-up around him and no one England player can really claim to have excelled.

However, thanks to Roy Hodgson’s open-book policy on naming his starting XI, we already know that the man closing in on Bobby Charlton’s all-time England goal-scoring record will benefit from playing with more familiar faces.

The last two occassions that Rooney has lined up with new England strike partner Daniel Sturridge – against Montenegro and Poland – the Three Lions’ number 10 has scored the first goal of the game and Studger is a guaranteed starter at Wembley.

Rooney should also benefit from his understanding with club-mate Tom Cleverley who is set to start in a central midfield role alongside skipper Steven Gerrard.

Let’s not forget Wazza has been in sterling form for his club and country at the start of this season, where he’s scored nine times in 19 appearances to date.

His last goal may have arrived three games ago against Fulham, but punters should be aware that this represents the longest gap Rooney has gone without finding the net this season.

With seven goals from his last 10 games in a Three Lions shirt as well, do not miss out on this amazing offer of 8/1 from Ladbrokes.
