Basel among the value bets to make Champions League last 16
Published:With the dust still settling on an enthralling mathday five of the Champions League, we take a quick look at some of the remaining group projections and pick a few potentially lucrative bets on those teams who could steal through when the last round of fixtures take place.
Having done the double over Chelsea the Swiss champions have left themselves in a very strong position to qualify from Group F, despite having drawn with bottom side Steaua Bucharest twice.

Roberto Mancini’s side have certainly made life more difficult for themselves than it needed to be by losing to Copenhagen on matchday four, though their fate is still in their own hands.
They must beat Juventus in Istanbul to get to the last 16 of the competition and send the Old Lady sprawling in the process.
Considering they have won their last four at home in all competitions and the hostile atmosphere their fans can generate on European nights, Galatasaray could just make the quarter finals for a second consecutive season.
