Swansea spearhead big-bet worthy Europa League acca

Published:

The Europa League can be a bit of a minefield when looking to identify best bets, but some nice prices are available among the third gameweek of group-stage action, with the fourfold below paying out at a smidgen under 19/2.

Dynamo Kiev to beat Thun @ 2/5

Having won 9-1 in their last domestic home game, Kiev are in flying form and they need to win this to ensure that their chances of getting out of the Europa League group stages remains in their own hands.

Thun have only won one of their last six in all competitions too, against relegation-threatened Swiss outfit Sion.

Zulte Waregem to beat Maribor @ 2/3

Zulte’s only defeat at home this season was in a Champions League qualifier and in the last six weeks, Anderlecht and Belgian league leaders Standard Liege have both left without any points.

Maribor were humbled at Wigan in their last Europa League away game and this should be an even tougher test.

PSV to beat Dinamo Zagreb @ 1/1

Arguably the most nerve-jangling selection of this accumulator, with Zagreb unable to call upon their fans in this home fixture because of previous racist chanting, without their best midfielder Said Husejinovic because of a knee injury and a first game for a new manager Zoran Mamic.

PSV are not always a team to rely upon, but they have won four of their last six and beat Chornomorets Odessa in their last Europa League away game, who look better than the Croats.

Swansea (-1) to beat Kuban Krasnodar @ 23/20

Kuban have been beaten 2-0 in both Europa League outings so far and these have both been against opposition that Swansea have defeated, without conceding.

Therefore, this should prove a comfortable night in Wales, even if Michael Laudrup opts to rest some of his first-teamers for West Ham’s visit in the next round of Premier League fixtures.
