Saints to keep on marching in our cross-divisional four-fold

The Premier League’s most-improved side head this week’s cross-divisional acca for those who like to keep their eye in across the whole of English football.
The Steve McClaren effect also hangs heavy over this four-fold, while League Two’s current summit sitters and the Football League’s most northerly outpost also get involved.
Southampton to beat Fulham 8/13
Southampton have been arguably the Premier League’s most impressive side and find themselves in sixth place after a strong start.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have racked up their best top-flight opening since 1983 and have lost just one of their previous 10 games in the division.
Saints have the least porous defence in the league, conceding a mere three goals this term, and are yet to lose at St Mary’s this season, winning their previous three on the south coast.
Derby v Birmingham 4/5
Derby have been rejuvenated by the installment of former England boss McClaren, taking six points from his first two games in charge, including a very impressive win away at Watford last time out.
Meanwhile Birmingham are still reeling from a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Leeds in their last outing and their away form will offer little solace.
The Blues have been defeated in four successive trips away from St Andrews, failing to find the back of the net once and should suffer again at the hands of a County side with their tails firmly up.
Carlisle to beat Bristol City 8/5
Bristol City have made a terrible start to life in the third tier and are in serious danger of registering a double relegation.
The Robins are still to get a victory under their belts and have been beaten in their last two.
Carlisle host the division’s bottom side in a rich vein of form having not lost since September 7th. The Brunton Park outfit have taken the spoils in their preceding two on their own patch and enjoyed a notable 1-0 success at MK Dons last week.
Rochdale to beat Dagenham 11/8
Rochdale are a team in form, having won eight of their previous nine games in all competitions.
Dale sit top of League Two and have lost just once in five away from Spotland.
Dagenham are also enjoying something of a purple patch but their undefeated home record was wrecked by struggling Cheltenham in their last encounter at Victoria Park.
Wayne Burnett’s side will prove a stern test of ex-team-mate Keith Hill’s charges, but at such a healthy price it is hard to ignore the north-west club.
