Gillingham to upset the applecart in League One treble
Published:The managerial merry-go-round turns once more, with 17th-placed Gillingham being the latest club to make a change. And with this in mind, we’ve put together an enticing League One accumulator paying just under £90 from a £10 stake.
Gillingham’s shock sacking of manager Martin Allen last week certainly sent shockwaves through the division, following an indifferent start to the season. Like Leyton Orient, Peterborough have been on a sensational run of form in the early stages of the season following their relegation from the Championship last term.
With nine wins, one draw and just a single defeat this campaign, Darren Ferguson’s men take on a Shrewsbury side that head to London Road off the back of a morale-boosting win against Tranmere last time out.
Ominously though for mid-table Shrewsbury, they are yet to win on their travels with three draws and two defeats. That winless record looks set to continue against the division’s top scorers. At 1/2, The Posh look set to extend their winning streak in the league.
