Fingers won’t get burnt by picking Man City in Red Hot Treble

Published:

Ladbrokes have enhanced the prices on 23 separate trebles from the second batch of fixtures to complete gameweek three of the group stages of the Champions League and there is one price that instantly stands out.

The Premier League clubs ended the first night’s action with mixed reactions. Chelsea comfortably won in Schalke, while Arsenal came unstuck at home to Borussia Dortmund.

There is to be no such mixture this time though, as both Manchester City and Manchester United can win their respective matches and added to a Paris Saint-Germain triumph at Anderlecht, this treble is available at the Red Hot price of 7/2.

If the three results were merged into a treble separately, the payout would be less than 3/1.

Man City travel to a CSKA Moscow side that are in average form at best, winning just one of their last seven games in all competitions and losing on five occasions.

They have also conceded at least two in each of their four fixtures.

Man City have been fairly inconsistent this season, but having triumphed in their last two games and scored at least twice in four of their last five, they can emerge victorious in Russia.

Inconsistency has been even more noticeable at Old Trafford, with Man Utd winning two, drawing two and losing two of their last six in all competitions. But they have taken four points from their pair of Champions League showdowns.

They host a Real Sociedad side that had gone eight fixtures without a win before taking three points from Valencia in their last La Liga outing. This result may boost confidence, but they are still point-less in Group A.

Meanwhile, PSG have won nine and drawn one of their last 10 games and travel to an Anderlecht that have been beaten in five of their last nine and failed to score in their two Champions League outings this season.
