Everton’s Lukaku top fantasy pick as porous Hull come to town

While Chelsea should have little trouble seeing off Cardiff at Stamford Bridge in gameweek eight, the task would be easier if they still had Romelu Lukaku at the club.

The striker is in monstrous form for Everton, scoring four and setting up another in his three league games, and Lukaku is the best bet to be the top fantasy football player for the second time in three gameweeks.

Lukaku is 4/6 to score anytime against Hull, who have let in two on each of their Premier League away days.

Of his former teammates, Oscar is perhaps the best pick from Chelsea’s ranks. The Brazilian is the fourth top-scoring midfielder in the game and has racked up two double-figure hauls in three home games.

Another midfielder worth considering is Michu, whose Swansea welcome Sunderland to the Liberty this weekend. The newly-minted Spain international is 11/10 to find the net.

With 16 conceded in seven games the Black Cats have let in the most goals in the league, and it’ll take more than the reintegration of Phil Bardsley for Gus Poyet to turn that around.

It is impossible to ignore Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge given their recent form, with the pair racking up five goals and two assists between them in the past two games.

Liverpool are away at Newcastle, where they won 6-0 last season, including two from Sturridge.

Only Manchester City have scored more goals than Arsenal so far this season, and the league-leading Gunners’ are likely to add a few to their currently tally of 14 when Norwich visit the Emirates.

Aaron Ramsey offers a goal-scoring threat from midfield, but Olivier Giroud bagged against the Canaries in the 3-1 win last season and found his shooting boots over the international break with two for France.
