Chelsea on alert as Pogba future thrown into doubt

David Moyes will certainly not thank his predecessor for the clumsy way Paul Pogba was allowed to leave Manchester United on a free transfer two years ago.

Pogba has all the attributes to be a long-term replacement for the England international in the heart of the Blues’ side.

Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio join Pogba in rotating in and out of Antonio Conte’s side, giving the French youngster the best possible footballing education.

Boasting the best central midfield in Europe outside of Barcelona, Juventus are 4/6 favourites to win the Scudetto for the third time in a row.

If Chelsea can pick Pogba up in the next season or two, they could secure a major part of the future of their side, and Manchester United will be left rueing the fact they let him go all the more.
