Back Arsenal and Chelsea to fight out high-scoring tie

Arsenal are narrow 7/5 favourites to see off Chelsea in their League Cup meeting this Tuesday – but, with two evenly matched sides facing off, backing a high-scoring affair may be the best way of cashing in.
Chelsea – who are fresh off the back of their last ditch 2-1 victory over Manchester City – are slightly longer at 8/5 to win on their trip to the Emirates and have won their last two encounters with Arsenal 2-1.
In fact, there has been plenty of goals between these sides in their recent meetings in both the FA Cup and League Cup.
Both sides have scored in each of their last five domestic cup meetings and there is little reason to think that run will end this time out.
Arsenal have struck in each of their league games so far this term, while Chelsea have only failed to find the net once in the Premier League – their goalless draw with Manchester United back in August.
Both sides also have burgeoning squads that will enable them to field a strong side no matter what team they opt for.
Backing both sides to find the net is a tempting proposition at 8/13, while a 2-1 win for either side is available at 10/1 – although it is worth noting that as well as beating Arsenal 2-1 in their last two league games, the Blues have also seen off Arsene Wenger’s men by that score in their last two domestic cup meetings.
