League leaders Leyton Orient head up a League One treble

Published:

We at Ladbrokes have put together a League One treble including Leyton Orient, free scoring Bradford City and leaky Carlisle United, which pays just under £60 from a £10 stake.

Bradford to beat Colchester @ 4/5

Last season’s League Two play off winners Bradford City have settled in to life in the division above with ease, and in Nahki Wells, they have the creative flair and fire power to make a sustained push towards the play off places this season.

With seven goals already, Wells’ creativity and firepower looks set to fire Bradford to all three points against a Colchester side who are winless in five league and cup games. Worryingly for the men from Essex, they have kept just two clean sheets in eight matches in all competitions, and are yet to score more than one goal in a fixture.

With this in mind, Bradford to beat Colchester at 4/5 look to be a safe bet.

Carlisle v Sheffield United – More than 2.5 goals @ 9/10

Managerless Carlisle seemingly have been the whipping boys in the division so far this season, having conceded 30 goals, and scoring just seven goals in league and cup games so far. Over the course of their league matches, the Cumbrians have conceded 14 goals, with five of their matches ending up with more than 2.5 goals in the game.

Visitors Sheffield United have had their struggles in front of goal of late, scoring just six goals in their fixtures this season, but expect that to change against a leaky Carlisle defence.

Matches involving these two at BruntonPark over the last two seasons yield an average of 4.5 goals per game, so 9/10 for more than 2.5 goals looks too good to turn down.

Leyton Orient to beat Port Vale @ 8/11

Russell Slade’s table topping Leyton Orient have made the best start to a season in the entire 131 year history of the club, with five wins from five matches; netting 13 goals and conceding just two goals in the process.

Added to the O’s remarkable start to the season, is their home record against last year’s third placed side in League Two, Port Vale. Despite the teams having not met since the 2007/08 season, Orient have won the last two meetings at London Road, and in current form, a third successive home win looks to be nailed on.

This treble means a £10 stake returns just under £60!
