Graphic to be a good outside pick in the Cambridgeshire

14:00 Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes – Berkshire @ 6/5

Berkshire looks well placed to build on a comfortable and impressive victory at Ascot last time which followed an encouraging debut at Newbury in May. The colt, ridden by Jim Crowley looks to be in the right form to hold off any challenges main rival Somewhat, who finished second over the ground at Newmarket over seven furlongs two starts ago.

14:35 Connolly´s Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes – Kiyoshi @ 9/4

Jamie Spencer’s two-year-old mount, Kiyoshi, looks well placed to challenge current favourite Vorda. The Charles Hills-trained filly has finished in the top four in all her races so far, winning two and being run out into second place when leading last time out at the Curragh.

15:10 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes – Sky Lantern @ 6/4

Elusive Kate faces stiff competition from Sky Lantern over the 1m course in the Sun Chariot Stakes. Despite the race being dominated by French horses in the recent past, the lack of challengers from continental Europe leaves the William Buick mount to renew her rivalry. The four-year-old filly beat the challenging Sky Lantern when landing the Falmouth over the same distance in July, but connections of the Guineas winner believe the result should have been different. After Buick’s whip struck Richard Hughes’ mount, a stewards’ enquiry was held and the result was controversially deemed to stand.

15:50 Cambridgeshire (Heritage Handicap) – Graphic @ 14/1

With Frankie Dettori on board, and on current recent form, Graphic looks to be a good pick to run well in the Cambridgeshire. Having won when well placed in its last two races, and with top-four finishes in each of its last five outings, the William Haggas-trained four-year-old looks in good shape to challenge the leading contenders heading in to the final couple of furlongs.
