O’s sitting pretty on top after opening day thumping of Carlisle

Leyton Orient topped the League One table over the opening weekend of the 2013-2014 season, after a long trek up to Carlisle was rewarded with a 5-1 success.
Orient are 25/1 to win the division and 8/1 to get promoted this year as manager Russell Slade picked up his first opening day win in 10 seasons.
The Cumbrians may have had to play with only 10 men for over an hour, but the Os’ showing is merely a follow-on from last season’s impressive displays.
Slade’s side just missed out on the play-offs in seventh place after a run which saw them lose twice in their last 14 matches.
It was the second time Orient had finished seventh in three seasons in League One, and as the debate over the Olympic Stadium continues to rage on, the club appear more galvanised than ever, and that will make a big difference at this level.
Pre-season favourites Wolves remain top of the League Winner betting at 7/2, after a hard-fought 0-0 with Preston at Deepdale. The Wanderers are 6/5 for promotion.
Big clubs like Leeds, NottinghamForest and Sheffield Wednesday have been stuck in the third tier previously, but Wolves have everything in place to avoid falling into that trap.
The appointment of Kenny Jackett has been regarded as a wise one, and a point in his first game as boss will have been welcome.
Wolves still name many players from their Premier League days in the squad, notably Kevin Doyle, and boast a side that on paper should make light work of League One this season.
