Hull v Norwich: Tigers home record to ring true against Canaries

Steve Bruce’s Hull side were handed one of the most difficult opening day tests possible and duly left Stamford Bridge with a 2-0 defeat last week.
However, their first home tie of the campaign looks a lot more appealing as they take on a Norwich side who have struggled on the road in the Premier League.
The Canaries have taken just five points from their last 10 away games in the top flight and face a Tigers outfit who won 13 times on their own patch last term.
Chris Hughton’s side did register a victory in their last league clash, but with no successive away wins since January 2012, Hull appeal at 7/5 to take the three points here.
Those fancying the visitors to build on a draw last week can get 19/10 on a triumph for the East Anglian outfit.
A stalemate can be backed at 23/10, and with the two both in search of their first conquests of the campaign a tight affair could be in store here.
The Yorkshire side kept more home clean sheets than any other side in the Championship in 2012/13, racking up 10 shut-outs at the KC Stadium, and they can be supported to keep out Steve Bruce’s team at 2/1.
Pair the hosts’ impenetrability on their own patch and Norwich’s woes on the road and one could do worse than to get behind a Hull win to nil at a rather healthy 3/1, especially considering that their opponents have recorded just two clean sheets in 52 Premier League trips.
Hull’s Danny Graham worked tirelessly on his debut, for little reward and he will lead the line again here. The former Sunderland man will be backed by the Championship’s top assist maker in Robbie Brady and is well priced at 7/1 to notch first.
