Euro scorer treble: Fabregas to fire against Levante again

Published:

Predicting goalscorers can be tricky business, but these three players enter their matches on the continent on Sunday with form for finding the net.

A £10 treble on them all to score anytime returns £59.99.

Cesc Fabregas, Barcelona v Levante @ 8/13

Having evaded the clutches of David Moyes and Manchester United this summer, Cesc Fabregas is about to start his third season in the Barcelona first team.

In both of his previous two he’s enjoyed facing Levante, and has scored four goals in four appearances against the men from Valencia, including a late winner in this fixture in April.

With the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar around his might not be the first name that comes to mind when you think of goalscorers for the men from the Nou Camp, but given the opposition he’ll be confident of notching.

David Villa, Sevilla v Atletico Madrid @ 23/20

The name of David Villa used to be on that Barca teamsheet too, but having moved to Atletico Madrid he’ll be happy to see Sevilla as the opponents on his La Liga debut for the club from the Spanish capital.

Villa found the net four times against the Andalusians when in Barcelona colours, including in the most recent meeting in February as well as a last minute winner last September.

Spain’s all-time record goalscorer found the net on both his Barca league and Champions League debuts three seasons ago, and he’ll be hoping that run continues at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Borussia Dortmund v Braunschweig @ 8/11

Unlike our previous two selections Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doesn’t have any sort of form against his Sunday opponents, but largely because he’s never played them before.

Newly-promoted Braunschweig are the next team to face the Gabonese goal-getter, who scored a hat-trick on his Bundesliga debut against Augsburg last weekend following his summer move from Saint-Etienne.

Dortmund should get plenty of chances in their first home league game of the season, and with the form Aubameyang is in he should be backed to take at least one.
