Rita Ora a nice price to coach on The Voice series three

Published:

At least two new judges will need to be brought in for the third series of The Voice, with Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue already confirming their exits from the show.

With the possibility that one or both of Will.i.am or Tom Jones could still plausibility join them as absentees, there is money to be made in correctly identifying at least one of the new faces who will feature on the judging panel.

One of the big things that The Voice needs to achieve is appealing more to a younger audience, while the gender rank of three males to one female for the previous two series has arguably prevented optimum chemistry.

Therefore, finding a female to appeal to the younger demographic would look a wise move and this makes Rita Ora overpriced at 11/1.

Ora has filled in previously during the audition stages of the X Factor so has some experience of such talent shows.

Ellie Golding comes into the same category and can be backed at 20/1 with Emili Sande the 5/1 favourite to be a new judge on the next series of The Voice and she arguably trumps those previously mentioned in terms of the actual voice.

One to watch further down the betting would be Taylor Swift, although it is likely that her appearance fee may be on the steep side in comparison to what the BBC are prepared to pay.

Looking at The Voice betting, following Sande is Robbie Williams at 6/1 and the fact that he performed his new single with Dizzie Rascal in the final of the last series, suggests that he is not ante the show.

Olly Murs is 8/1 and would be another to appeal to a younger audience, with Ed Sheeran seeming like a worthy replacement for Danny and he is available at 25/1.
