GAA Super Bonus Acca: Donegal, Tyrone, Kilkenny & Galway @ 7/2

The sun is shining, the weekend is nearly upon us and we are back once again with a brand new edition of the weekly GAA Super Bonus Accumulator.

With the regular football season still some weeks away, there’s money to be had in our four-fold selection of Tyrone, Kilkenny, Donegal and Galway which offers odds of just over 7/2.

Now let’s get down to business.

Donegal to beat Laois @ 1/4 (All Ireland Football Qualifiers)

Donegal will still be smarting after last Sunday’s surprise defeat to an inspired Monaghan side – a loss that saw the All Ireland Champions relinquish their Provincial title – and will be expected to deliver a response here.

They will be without Mark McHugh for the visit of Laois but provided they can start brightly and keep star kicker Ross Munnelly at bay, then a home victory at 1/4 looks a tempting prospect.

Tyrone to beat Meath @ 2/5 (All Ireland Football Qualifiers – Live on RTE2)

Meath fans will hark back to their famous All Ireland semi-final win over Tyrone in 1996, but the reality is that the Ulstermen are favourites for this one.

A tough qualifier against Kildare in Newbridge was successfully navigated last weekend, despite a missed Stephen O’Neill penalty and a second half revival from their opponents.

Meath meanwhile failed to go the distance against Dublin in the Leinster Final and a similar drop in the final quarter here could favour their All Ireland opponents who are available at 2/5.

Kilkenny to beat Cork @ 3/10 (All Ireland Hurling Quarter Final – Live on RTE2)

Kilkenny showed off their trademark resilience with a late victory over Waterford in the last round and they look well-placed to beat the visiting Cork here.

The away side may have been boosted by the news that Patrick Horgan’s suspension has now been lifted ahead of this key encounter, but Kilkenny’s recent Championship domination over the Rebels could be set to continue.

Throw into the mix the fact that Kilkenny’s star performers are returning to fitness with every passing week and it’s difficult to look past the hosts at 3/10.

Galway to beat Clare @ 4/6 (All Ireland Hurling Quarter Final – Live on RTE2)

Galway may have endured a difficult start to their current Provincial campaign, including a heavy loss to Dublin in the Leinster Final but they remain a side with real potential.

That could come to the fore against a stop-start Clare team that impressed against Waterford and Laois but was conversely poor in ties against Cork and Wexford.

If Galway can get star man Joe Canning into the game then an All Ireland Semi Final place should be theirs, making 4/6 for a win a great price.
