Elena Vesnina the jewel in our 16/1 Wimbledon four-timer
Published:Whether due to injury or to unforeseen brilliance, seeds and favourites have been dropping like flies in the first two rounds at Wimbledon and our women’s day four accumulator is harnessing the unusual atmospheric conditions to bring you a 16/1 fourfold powered on the regrets of those the bookies fancy to proceed to round three.
Madison Keys is far from the finished article, but the young lady Lyndsey Davenport touted on BBC’s Wimbledon coverage as the leading light among the next generation of American girls is the sole favourite to enter into our plans for day four, where she is fancied to dispose of Mona Barthel.

Li has been struggling for consistency of late, having gone as many as three matches deep in just one of her last five tournaments. Don’t be fooled by a 6-1, 6-1 first round win here, that came against world number 575 Michaella Krajicek.
Halep on the other hand, landed the title at Hertogenbosch in her pre-Wimbledon warm-up and has yet to lose in six grass court outings this term.
Another warm-up tournament queen unbeaten on the green stuff in the calendar year is Elena Vesnina, who is mysteriously a mild underdog in her clash with Sabine Lisicki.
Lisicki may have won the pair’s two meetings on clay, but Vesnina beat her opponent in their one clash on the faster hard court surface and she can bring her lawn form to bear here.
Finally Urzula Radwanska is expected to have a hard time against world number 126 Alison Riske, who has notched two wins in their three-match career head-to-head, including a victory over the Pole on grass at Birmingham in 2011.
Radwanska has been enduring an underwhelming time since the start of the clay court segement of the season, failing to reach beyond the second stage in six of her last seven tournaments and looks fair game for an upset.
