Hawks to kick off our fourfold NBA play-off accumulator

Published:

Indiana Pacers lead the Atlanta Hawks 3-2 ahead of Game Six in this play-off series, with every match being won by the home side.

Home advantage really seems to be the key here, and the five matches have so far been won in fairly comfortable fashion, with winning margins ranging from 11 to 23 points.

All this suggests that Game Six at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta should see the Hawks level the series at 3-3.

The regular season clashes between the pair only serves to reinforce the point, with both sides winning their two home games, and the Hawks are fancied here at 4/5.

After staring down the barrel of a play-off whitewash defeat, the Boston Celtics have fought back had against the New York Knicks to win the last two games, and could now level the series 3-3 in Game Six in front of their home fans.

The total points market looks attractive in this tie. The five previous games have been low scoring affairs, with neither side yet to hit the 100-point barrier, and four of the five games have yielded well under the 181 total points market at 10/11.

The LA Clippers finished the regular season with a seven-game winning streak (second highest in the NBA) but their form has deserted them in the play-offs, where Memphis have won three straight to lead the series 3-2.

The Clippers won at Memphis during that seven-game streak, but that was the Grizzlies only defeat in their last 14 regular season games at the FedEx Forum, where they went 32-9 this term.

Memphis have won the last three in the series by 10 points or more, and can be backed at 8/5 to win the Point Spread handicap at minus 11.5 points.

The Houston Rockets lost the first three play-offs against Oklahoma City Thunder, before responding in fine style to win the last two.

The last four games have been exceptionally close, with less than 10 points the difference, but Houston pulled off a seven-point win in front of the Oklahoma faithful in Game Five however, and will have the momentum and home support in Game Six.

The Rockets can be backed at 8/5 to win on the Point Spread minus 6.5 handicap for a total NBA accumulator value of 23/1.
