Aguero a major Fantasy Football price with Norwich in town

| 17.05.2013

Gareth Bale and Daniel Sturridge understandably head the market to accrue the most Fantasy Football points in the final week of Premier League action, but it is virtually impossible not to focus on players from Manchester City in this market.

Bale is the outright favourite at 16/1 and with Tottenham needing a win at home to Sunderland to have any chance of finishing in the top four, he is sure to be shooting on sight more than ever.

Meanwhile, Sturridge will be full of confidence at Anfield against Premier League basement boys QPR after six goals in four games, including a hat-trick at Fulham last time. He is 20/1 to be week 38’s top points scorer.

Although both have worthy claims, the great scoring record that Man City have when opposing Norwich just cannot be ignored and so the value may lie with their attackers.

Man City have scored 15 goals across their last three meetings with Norwich, with Sergio Aguero the only player to have netted at least once in each of these encounters.

The Argentine has grabbed three goals in his last five top-flight appearances and could be overpriced at 25/1 to help himself to the most points in the gameweek.

Furthermore, in their nine home clashes thus far with teams to start the final weekend in the bottom half of the Premier League standings, Man City have scored at least three goals on six occasions.

Edin Dzeko loves the final day of a domestic campaign more than most, as he has scored in closing fixtures of the last four seasons.

He is a less assured starter than Aguero against Norwich, but at 33/1 he could be worth a smaller punt and this will look even bigger should he get the nod in attack ahead of Carlos Tevez.
