Attraction are attractive 3/1 to dance toward BGT glory
Published:Hungarian dance group Attraction are the early favourites for glory on Britain’s Got Talent this year, but remain a strong price at 3/1.
The eight-piece’s shadow act impressed millions of viewers, and received a standing ovation from Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell in week one.
History of the show reveals quite quickly that dance acts often go far in this competition, with three of the past six BGT victors coming from a dancing background, and there is a strong chance that Attraction could make that four winners in seven years this summer with their unique performance.
18-year-old singer Jordan O’Keefe is at 7/1 to win the contest and sing at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
His boyish looks and cheeky demeanour could see him win many supporters and votes along the way, especially after receiving high praise from Simon Cowell, who said he ‘loved’ the Northern Irishman’s rendition of One Direction’s Little Things.
Viewers of the show have often supported the younger acts, with George Sampson winning in 2008 aged just 15, and Ashleigh Butler doing likewise with her dog Pudsey aged only 16 last year.
O’Keefe has the potential to easily sway viewers of all ages, and could prove a rewarding punt at 7/1.
Singer Alice Frederman is 12/1 to win season seven, after overcoming stage fright to wow the judges.
A female singer has never won this competition however, and Frederman’s failure to gain success on The Voice may be an indicator of her chances of winning here.
One outsider possibly worth backing may be 14-year-old comedian Jack Carroll.
Carroll won the crowd over with his routine, which included mocking his own Cerebral Palsy condition.
At 20/1 he could well find favour with a whole host of viewers, and become another teenage star of Britain’s Got Talent.
