The Hornets and their influx of loanees are mounting a surprise promotion push, finding themselves in the dizzy heights of third after 33 games played. They entertain Derby next on the back of six wins in eight games.

In addition to this, they’ve bagged 13 goals in their last five at Vicarage Road which should see them buoyed ahead of the out-of-form Rams’ arrival in Hertfordshire. Nigel Clough’s men are winless in four and have picked up just the solitary victory from 10 away days, losing eight of them.

Blackburn to beat Leeds @ 1/1

The circus that is Blackburn Rovers seems to be transforming from a farce where the clowns can’t juggle and the lion tamers get their arms torn off, into a reasonably entertaining night out.

The music has stopped on Michael Appleton’s managerial musical chairs at Ewood Park and he’s overseen four wins – including one at the Emirates – in his six games at the helm.

Leeds are typically poor travellers and have failed to win any of their away trips in the league since December 1st. With much unrest off the field, Rovers should get a bit more momentum behind their play-off push in this one.

Middlesbrough to beat Millwall @ 1/1

The Boro have been on an incredibly poor run of late but, aside from an absolute mauling at Crystal Palace, they have shown some positive signs with a win of Leeds and a well-earned point at Burnley.

They play host to a Millwall side next whose bubble has well and truly burst in recent months and gravity is duly pulling the one-time play-off outsiders towards the foot of the Championship table. The Lions have lost five league games on the spin, culminating in a 5-1 trouncing on their own patch by League One-bound Peterborough last time out.
