Bet-of-the-day King heads World Darts accumulator

Published:

The first round of the 2014 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship continues on Monday and a bet on all four matches could prove lucrative.

King to beat Young at 2/9

Mervyn King’s faces the American Darin Young and it is King who we back to complete the accumulator.

King is a highly fancied competitor in this year’s tournament and is ranked as the 14th seed, so progress against Young is to be expected.

King reached the semi finals back in 2009 and although a repeat may not occur, The King should advance to the second round.

Petersen to beat Latif Sapup at 1/7

Petersen is also odds on to defeat the relatively unknown Latif Sapup in their tie to reach the first round on Monday. Latif Sapup has never been past this stage of the competition and is unlikely to do so against the South African.

Petersen reached the second round two years ago and will be keen to do the same with victory over Latif Sapup.

Kim Huybrechts to beat Ronny Huybrechts at 1/4

One of the more intriguing matches sees the Huybrechts brothers face off against each other.

However it is younger brother Kim Huybrechts who stands out as the more enticing offer. He is currently ranked 12th, 33 places above his older brother, and is likely to pick up the win here.

Having reached the quarter finals two years ago, younger brother K Huybrechts will be looking to advance with victory here.

Baxter to beat Evans at 8/13

Baxter against Evans completes our accumulator and it is the more experienced Baxter whom we are backing for the win. The man from Blackpool is overwhelming favourite to defeat his young rival Ricky Evans on Monday. The 23 year old is vastly inexperienced in comparison to Baxter and cannot be expected to provide a realistic challenge.

Therefore the 19th seed, Baxter, has a great opportunity to go one round further than in last year’s tournament.
