Ronaldo wants out of Real Madrid with PSG circling

Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to leave Real Madrid in the summer according to reports from Spain.

Marca reckons the Spanish champions could be on the verge of losing the £80 million man because he feels the club aren’t doing enough to help him in his quest for individual honours.

Despite bagging 46 goals for Real as they won La Liga last season – as well as guiding Portugal to the semi-finals of Euro 2012 – he is still miles behind Lionel Messi in the Ballon d’Dor betting.

The Barcelona man is in at 1/8 to win the award for a fourth straight year while Ronaldo is out at 6/1 despite his arguably greater achievements.

It would surely take an absolutely astronomical sum of cash to get Ronaldo from Real after the Portuguese’s form over the past three years has made the £80 million they paid for him look a bargain.

Arguably the only two clubs who stand a realistic chance of getting the player are French side Paris Saint Germain or Russian team Anzhi Makhachkala as Ronaldo has stated in the past that he wouldn’t join another English side other than Manchester United as long as Sir Alex Ferguson remains in charge.

Elsewhere, according to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are set to make an £8 million move for Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The 25-year-old has been in impressive form this season for the Potters and, with United’s current goalkeepers failing to impress, Ferguson is thought to be looking elsewhere.

Tony Pulis has said he’s going nowhere but, with Liverpool also allegedly keen on the Bosnian, he has a fight on his hands to keep him at the Britannia.
