Enhanced odds on offer for Frankel and brother in win double at York

Published:

Frankel looks an almost banker winner of the Juddmonte International at York and punters fancying his brother to also triumph can get a decent 10/1 on the double of the siblings both tasting success.

At a price of 1/8, punters may struggle to lump on Frankel in the Juddmonte, especially as there are small question marks over his stamina on his first try at 1m2f.

However, Henry Cecil has done all in his power to help the race go to plan by effectively also running two pacemakers.

Usual racing buddy Bullet Train will again lead the way from the stalls, while Twice Over is in the field to provide further assistance in the latter stages of the race.

The Ebor meeting at York threatens to be a profitable one for Cecil and the Great Voltiguer looks another leading opportunity for a Group-level success.

Cecil is dual handed with Thomas Chippendale entered alongside Noble Mission and the pair are among the favourites for the 1m4f contest at 4/1 and 11/2 respectively.

Thomas Chippendale shaded victory when the pair clashed over the Great Voltigeur distance in the King Edward VII Stakes at Ascot in June, but Noble Mission was hampered at a pivotal point of the race that day.

Noble Mission is still to finish outside of the first two in his five career starts and this is a vital race for his season given its nature as the leading St Leger trial.

Meanwhile, Noble Mission was the victor of the Gordon Stakes on his latest start at Goodwood and three of the last four winners to enter the Great Voltigeur have finished in the first two.

Jockey Tom Queally has stated that “he’s a horse that’s going places” and although 1m6f should be more up Noble Mission’s street, he is capable of winning the Great Voltigeur.
