Rain expected to fall throughout July and during Olympic ceremony

As the downpour continues, the firm make it 6/1 that this month becomes the wettest July since records began, and there’s also a 50/1 chance that the Olympic Stadium is faced with rain everyday for the remainder of the month.
With just weeks until the Olympic Games descend upon London, it’s just 2/1 that the heavens open during the Opening Ceremony and it’s 25/1 that the weather causes the flame to go out.
And whoever is given the honour of lighting the cauldron, it’s 500/1 they sport an umbrella hat in an attempt to keep the drizzle at bay. Lord Coe is chalked up at 20/1 to wear a pac-a-mac at any point during the ceremony on July 27.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The nation is down in the dumps thanks to the miserable weather, but it hasn’t deterred them from making a quick buck out of it.”
