Sorry Lawrie – 50/1 a female manager named in Premier League
Published:A FEMALE manager needs to defy odds of 50/1 to take over a Premier League club in ten years, according to Ladbrokes.
Following comments from Lawrie Sanchez, the bookies are fairly pessamistic of the chances of a female breaking the ranks in the top division but do quote odds of 20/1 that there’s a female in charge of any football league club in the same period.
It’s a massive 100/1 a woman takes over the Three Lions within the decade.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We hope Sanchez got decent odds when had his bet. We can’t see it happening any time soon.”
