Chico’s skate-off past makes him shoe-in for Dancing On Ice exit

Despite not be the worst dancer in the last four of Dancing On Ice, Chico is almost certain to fail to make the final at 8/11.

It is now crunch time for the celebrities as they all look to secure a final berth and all are planning to take risks in order to win over the public.

Chico, Jennifer Ellison, Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter will have to incorporate an Ultimate Skills Test into their routines, with the reward for the highest point scorer being that they are guaranteed one of the three final places.

In order to attempt to boost their scores, Matthew and Jorgie are both challenging themselves by taking on the dreaded headbanger manoeuvre.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is reportedly doing a spin that will see her upside down with her ankles around the neck of partner Dan Whiston and Chico is attempting a risky drape lift.

Based on series results and scores so far, there is every chance that Jennifer will prop up the leaderboard.

This would be relevant if there was a skate-off, as it is virtually guaranteed that Jennifer and Chico would be taking part and Jennifer would probably leave.

However, it is believed that there will be no semi-final skate off and it will be solely down to the public to send a celebrity home.

With Chico the only remaining act to have ever featured in a skate-off, this suggests that he has the smallest fan base of the final four and so unless he tops the leaderboard, he will probably leave.

Jennifer is the only other plausible contender to fail to reach the final and can be backed at 7/4 to depart, although there has been a slight gamble on Jorgie Porter, who has shortened to 7/1.
